Workforce Development

The F.I.V.E. Career Readiness Training Program operates through a workforce development lens with a focus on enhancing the mental health and career readiness of its participants. The program provides quality behavioral healthcare, industry-specific certification training, and pathways to economic prosperity. By doing so, it seeks to promote racial equity and reduce economic disparities.

This program employs best-practice career readiness methods, offering industry-specific certification training to equip participants with the skills they need for self-sufficiency and sustainability. It addresses deficiencies in current training programs, aiming to provide a more enriching experience and better outcomes for participants. These outcomes include workforce training, job placement, entrepreneurship support, and practical benefits like LLC formation and business cards.

The program also helps individuals with financial debts and fees to expedite their journey toward self-sufficiency. Through partnerships with initiatives that relax hiring practices related to criminal backgrounds and provide support for transportation and housing, the F.I.V.E. Career Readiness Training Program positions its participants for long-term self-sufficiency.

Furthermore, the program is staffed with individuals who are well-equipped to engage with and deliver programming to the target demographic. The leadership team has extensive experience in workforce development, entrepreneurship, and behavioral health, making them ideally suited to provide training and job placement services for those facing addiction and related challenges.
